The Passage evolved from the ashes of our Q121 project. Throughout the development of that project we had created a lot of content based around the ‘Pale Blue Dot’ image taken by Voyager 1 in 1990 and the subsequent speech by Carl Sagan taken from his book of the same name. We decided to try and pull these together into a more conventional show that could be performed in any location.

The Passage focuses on the remarkable journey of Voyager 1, the most distant man-made object from Earth. Utilising a dual screen setup, the visuals included various images taken by Voyager 1 and data from it’s mission.
