Dislocation I
Info
Our debut project, Dislocation was more a proof of concept in the power of telling immersive stories. Our objective was to allow the viewer to question their understanding and experience of home and feeling part of society, and the feelings that arise when you’re cast out and away from the things that you take for granted.
In four movements, working with a single screen set-up, the visuals and audio are tightly synced as we progress through the story. The narrative is non-direct and emotive, with confrontational sounds and music.
For us, this is the place where it all started, and quickly helped us form further ideas for new projects.
